I do love them for traveling!

Have you ever planned a trip with your Hartmann Luggage? Lets hope they don't need repairs! You scrimp and save for the tickets, make sure you have the right clothes for the journey and you may even daydream about it as a way to make it through a hard day at work. Then the time comes for you to get packing. You have everything you need; now you just need to put it all together. You go to pack your clothes only to find that your set of Hartmann luggage won’t zip. You need to find a place to get Hartmann luggage repair before you can even pack for your vacation!

Rest easy. It really is going to be alright. That’s because you were smart when you bought your luggage. Your luggage came with a lifetime warranty. All you have to do is get to a Hartman luggage repair shop. The great thing is that you don’t even have to go directly to Hartmann. You can take your luggage to any licensed warranty repair shop. Your warranty covers it all. This part of your vacation won’t cost you a dime. Isn’t it nice to know that there are companies like Hartmann that will still stand behind their work these today?

My Luggage Tips!

It doesn’t matter which part of Hartmann’s superior quality convinced you to buy it in the first place. It probably wasn’t the idea of needing to use Hartmann luggage repair. It may not have been knowing that Hartman luggage can take almost any kind of travel abuse you can dish out to it. Maybe you simply like the design.  Maybe the price was the right one for your budget.  Whatever the reason was, you really couldn’t have chosen a better brand for your travel needs.  Hartmann luggage is built to last and has a warranty to back up that claim.

So the next time you decide to go shopping for additional luggage to add to your collection, don’t forget the day you had to use Hartmann luggage repair. Not every company offers a lifetime warranty and even the ones that do often demand that you go out of your way to get your luggage repaired.  Of course, ideally you would never need luggage repair, but accidents happen all the time. It’s nice to know that of all the things you ever have to replace in your life, your luggage doesn’t have to be one of them. Just buy Hartmann luggage.

Jessica R. Your comments couldn't be more incorrect. I have been dealing with the Hartmann repair center in Lebanon, TN for the past two weeks in an effort to not only get my broken zippers repaired, but to deal with the crappy workmanship and torn seams on two Intensity collection pieces. I sent two pieces back (a 27" and 22") for repair. Customer service claims it's airline damage and will "repair it" and charge me in excess of $125 each. This is supposed to be ballistic nylon. As stated in their online ads "Materials similar to what is used in bullet-proof vests". When these pieces retail for $595 and $375, this material should be bullet proof. Instead, the workmanship is garbage and they don't stand behind their product. I refuse to pay them this extraordinary sum of money for these repairs and will never recommend Hartmann to anyone. I am ashamed to admit that I own 13 pieces of Hartmann luggage. I thought I was paying for a quality product, but realize the hard way I didn't get what I paid for.

I agree with Bill! I started buying Hartmann in the early 80's, (which I still own those pieces), but at that time they stood behind their product. For the last 5 years or so I have paid for EVERY repair and let me tell you they are outrageously costly. Eg. the second time I used a rolling suitcase I get home and the zipper is destroyed on one of the corners. Now I know the airline did it but I ask them about it and they say not their fault. I'm thinking "thank God I spent $500 on this and Hartmann will take care of it." I return it to the luggage store at Flatirons Mall in Broomfield, Colorado, (forget the name!)but it's the only luggage store there located in a corner store. I get a call it is going to be x amount if we fix it or x plus $50 if we send it to Hartmann. I'm thinking $160 because they have zippers on the corners that aren't protected and cannot withstand airline luggage people? Certainly Hartmann will repair it and not charge me the $160. Stupid me. I pay the $160. Now I have 7 -9 pieces of luggage that I use mostly if I don't check in at the airlines. I have a tweed rolling piece that is my designated Check Bag and it has held up well. If it ever gets damaged I will throw it away. My b-in-law just received a Briggs & Riley for Christmas and I will see how he does w/it. In closing I love my Hartmann look but I cannot justify the prices for it. I'd pay reasonable repair prices but not ridiculous ones.
